Centre In Foundation Studies

Pusat Asasi or Centre of Foundation Studies was established in November 2009 with the aim of preparing students to pursue degree programmes in critical areas in UiTM and other public Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA). 

The academic predegree programmes offered are :

• PI005, PI007 Asasi Undang-undang (LAW)

• PI009 Asasi Kejuruteraan (Engineering)

• PI020 Asasi TESL (Teaching English Second Language)

• PI080 Asasi Sains (Science)

 

WHO CAN APPLY?

• Malaysian citizen with Bumiputra status

• Fresh SPM school leavers.

• Foreign qualfications are not eligible.

 

HOW TO APPLY?

• Fill in the application form of UPU (BPKP JPT).

 

STUDENT INTAKE

• May for PI005, PI007, PI009, PI020, PI080.

• Nov for P1005

 

All students are enrolled as full time and are eligible for a scholarship from Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia.

Lots of opportunities to further studies in various critical areas upon successful completion of this programme. For those interested to do Medical and Biological Sciences should enrol for Science Foundation and for those interested in Engineering and Technology should enrol for Engineering Foundation. Law Foundation is focused on Law education and TESL Foundation is on education of Teaching English as Second Language.
