TESL Foundation is a full time preparatory predegree programme to prepare students for entry into B. Ed. (Hons.) TESL programme or other relevant degree programmes at UiTM or other local Public Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA). 

The duration of the programme is 2 semesters with 50 credits, where students will undergo an extensive English Language proficiency courses as well as basic introductory courses to English Literature, Drama, Computer Literacy, Malaysian Studies and Principles of Education. 

Upon completion of this program, students could proceed to study B. Ed. (Hons) TESL programmes or other relevant degree programmes at any IPTA. 

The requirements for B. Ed. (Hons) TESL @ UiTM:

• Minimum of 2.50 CGPA

• A minimum of Band 4 in MUET

• Pass the MEdSI (Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory) written test

• Pass the Ministry of Higher Education selection interview
